The Meloni government's war on hemp continues. With a new decree, published last 6 July in the Official Journal, which would insert the CBD among them narcotics.
A measure that could come into force in force in less than 30 days, bringing both the Italian green sector and all the consumers who benefit from these products on a daily basis.

Amazing CBD: what the government decree provides
Without even waiting the TAR's decision on the old ordinance, the government presented a new decree with the same objective: to insert the CBD-based oral preparations in the narcotics table.
A surreal maneuver, which would lead Italy to be the only country in the world to consider CBD a narcotic.
Especially after WHO recommendation of 2020, also cited in the text of the decree, which invited all member states not to include CBD products in any table at an international level.
And again, the sentence of Court of Justice of 2020. Che had confirmed that CBD cannot be considered narcotic and that the product produced by one Member State can also circulate freely in the others.
As always, we will keep you updated. Convinced that all sector associations will take action to stop yet another folly of this government.
