More effective and sustainable than common insecticides. The CBD, as highlighted by a recent scientific study, can be a valid ally in the fight against mosquitoes (more dangerous for humans).
In fact, it has been proven that CBD can also affect and kill mosquitoes of the species Aedes aegypti: carriers of numerous diseases, including yellow fever, the dengue and the Zika virus.

CBD: a natural insecticide against mosquitoes
There are always mosquitoes more resistant to conventional chemical insecticides. And finding (really effective) alternatives has become a first-order problem.
To evaluate the larvicidal activity, researchers atOhio University administered a CBD extract to two strains of mosquito larvae.
Within just 48 hours, depending on the concentration of the extract, 100% of the larvae studied died. Confirming the great potential of CBD as a natural insecticide.
“Hemp leaf extracts and CBD have the potential to serve as viable sources for development of new larvicides for mosquitoes", concluded the authors of the research.
