Last October 26th TAR of Lazio, after having confirmed the suspension of the decree which included oral preparations based on CBD in the narcotic medicines table, had set the hearing on the merits for January 16, 2024.
A day that arrived on time, but which, unfortunately, did not lead to the desired results. The TAR of Lazio, in fact, in the session of 16 January last, ordered the postponement of the hearing to September 16, 2024.

TAR of Lazio, the verdict on CBD postponed: sale remains free
"The TAR verdict could have significant consequences on the marketing of CBD products and, consequently, on the entire production sector", the ICI Association had declared (Hemp Entrepreneurs Italy).
But what are the instant effects of the decision to postpone the trial? Taken most likely because the State Attorney's Office "has made a request for postponement pending the opinion of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità".
Although there is a bitter taste in the mouth from the unexpected postponement, the good news is that the Sale of CBD remains free and legal without the need for any medical prescription, at least until next September 16th.
