The Big Apple continues to amaze us. In New York the hotels for the quarantine from Covid-19 allow residents to consume marijuana.
The news came directly from New York Post after a journalist personally went to the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel to verify the veracity of the rumors.
To dispel any doubts was a 21 year old boy just outside the entrance who he snorted marijuana from his orange traffic cone bong. “It's nice to relax when I'm stuck in a room alone for five days,” confirmed Martin grateful to be able to smoke his weed.
As the young man says, anyone who stays in one of the quarantine hotel of the city can bring their own weed, which a nurse will bag, weigh and distribute during the three 15-minute outdoor breaks allowed during the day.
“They allow you to bring marijuana with you into quarantine, but They don't let you bring alcohol - continues the boy - a member of staff checked that my pomegranate juice was sealed and did not contain alcohol", he concludes.
From what the American newspaper reports, around 65% of approximately 420 guests of the hotel and a nearby Holiday Inn are marijuana smokers. And it is the duty of the nurses, some favorable, others less so, to accompany and supervise patients during the smoking break in the open air.
