Cannabis Self-production Law

After more than two years of waiting that seemed interminable, unjust punishments and a spanner in the works, the self-production law of cannabis was approved by the Justice Commission and today, June 24, it should arrive at the Chamber of Deputies to be discussed.

What does the bill provide?

I main points of the basic text that will have to be discussed in the Chamber are the following:

  1. For the crime of production, possession and dealing (Art 73) the law is introduced minor cases, so as to punish less severe cases less severely
  2. For personal use, the cultivation of 4 plants of cannabis
  3. If it's a person drug addict to commit the crime of drug dealing, she will no longer be punished with prison but with gods socially useful work
  4. The penalties increase in cases of:
    • criminal association
    • when the crime is committed against minors
    • when the crime is committed by someone in possession of an authorization to produce for medical and research purposes

Super event for the discussion of the proposal in the Chamber

For the occasion, the campaign for legalization Better Legal organized a super event. A special day that will see over 80 guests, 10 parliamentarians and over 300 plants parade.

“This day aims to discuss, debate, have fun, but above all put pressure on the institutions. June 24th will come after a long time in the Chamber the text on home cultivation of cannabis.
