Victory for the industrial hemp sector. With a new ordinance, the TAR confirmed the suspension of the decree which inserted the CBD among narcotic medicines.
A month and a half after the previous appeal presented by ICI (Hemp Entrepreneurs Italy), which had already led to the suspension of the decree, the TAR of Lazio has the request for suspension was accepted presented by the company Sviluppo srl.
How reported byAnsa, the TAR held that "in full agreement with what has already been established, the conditions for accepting the proposed precautionary application exist, also in this case".
The public hearing on the merits, in which the sentence definitive, it is set for the next one December 16th 2024.

Ban all hemp: the madness of the Security Bill
If approved, the amendment included in the Security Bill it would raze the entire hemp industry, which today has over 3 thousand companies and 11 thousand workers.
A madness promoted by the Italian government, which would clash with the European Union directives, who has repeatedly reiterated that the trade in industrial hemp cannot be limited.
The latest sentence arrived just last October 4th. The European Court of Justice definitively confirmed the EU's position: the Member States they cannot ban the cultivation of hemp.
In fact, as recently declared by the M5S MEP Valentina Palmisano, "The European Commission has opened an investigation to evaluate the conformity of the provisions in the Hemp Security bill with the Treaties and secondary legislation of the Union".
The goal? The government's about-face. Or, in the case of a possible approval, have the European bodies intervene directly.
