The first step is done. The Court of Cassation gives the ok at the Cannabis Referendum. Before setting the voting date, however, the fundamental opinion of the Constitutional Court is missing, which will be expressed on February 15th.

After last September, and the galloping fear that another Referendum was sabotaged, the news we have all been anxiously awaiting has arrived in the last few hours.
The Court of Cassation, after verifying that the laws regulating the referendum have been respected, confirmed that the signatures collected they are sufficient to call the Cannabis Referendum next spring.
But what happens now? Let's take a step back and remember the process to follow. After the Court of Cassation, it will be the turn of the Constitutional Court give the final OK. Afterwards, the President of the Republic will call the Referendum with a decree, setting the date.
The Constitutional Court will be expressed on February 15th. Meanwhile, the Meglio Legale legalization campaign is making itself felt on social media, flaunting the success it has just achieved and planning the next objectives.
"While we await the final approval we cannot remain idle. We are already starting to organize a national mobilization to inform all citizens that cannabis is better legal." We, as always, will keep you updated.
